| SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES
Taiji is just
as useful for young people as it is for adults. If students are
finding it difficult to attend, taiji may be of interest, both for
them and as a way of improving their general focus in life. It could
also help in calming down the more disruptive members as well as
boosting the confidence of those who are of an insecure nature.
Many who are attending and doing well may struggle
when it comes to exams. Taiji and qigong
aid concentration and focus, enabling a student to achieve the best
they can. Teachers/lecturers would also benefit from classes not
only for the reasons mentioned above but to help with the pressure
caused by an increasing work load, and in some areas working with
challenging members of the class.
Classes can be in or out of school/college hours
e.g. lunch time club, as part of a P.E. program, as occasional workshops
or just at exam times.
